It's time to stitch, soak and shop local! Join us for the YarnTastic Market, a colourful celebration of craft, community and creativity — held on the quirky combo of Worldwide Knit in Public Day and International Bath Day!

🗓️ Saturday 14 June 2025
📍 Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre – Main Hall
🕘 10am – 2pm
595 Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland

🧶 Come for the Yarn, Stay for the Vibes

We’re inviting you to a fibre-filled fiesta!  Expect a vibrant mix of makers, creators and crafters – from crochet queens and purl pals to soapmakers, wood crafters, fashion jewellery makers and so much more.

Te Atatu Peninsula Artisan & Handmade Market - Saturday 14 June - 595 Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula

Whether you’re a proud yarnaholic or just love a good handmade gift, you’ll feel right at home browsing our stalls filled with:

✨ Fibre crafts, handcrafted toys and handmade knits
🛁 Bath bombs, soaps, soaks and bath treats
🎨 Homewares, gifts and artisan items
🕯️ Candles and delicious sweet treats

🛁 Why Bath Day?

Because everyone deserves a good soak now and then!  International Bath Day honours that sweet moment Archimedes shouted “Eureka!” from his bathtub.  We say:  celebrate it with bubbles, bath salts and blissful body care — handmade, of course.

So while our purl pals are getting knit-faced, you can be picking up something divine for your next soak.

💘 “Who Do You Love?” Competition

We’re letting you crown this month’s Market MVP (Most Valuable Person)!

  • Vote for your favourite stallholder and go in the draw to win a tray of decadent Ferrero chocolates (Prize #1)!
  • The stallholder with the most votes will also get a little thank-you treat!
  • One lucky voter from the winning stall will be drawn at 12 pm to claim the choccies

☕ Sip, Stitch & Soak it All In

  • Grab a cuppa from our cosy café corner
  • Bring your knitting or crochet project and join the public stitch session, also at our cosy café corner
  • Hang out with fellow makers and soap up the vibes
  • And all the while tapping your toes to our inhouse DJ's tunes
  • Well-behaved pooches on leash are welcome too

🚗 Getting Here

There’s plenty of parking via Pringle Road, and we’re wheelchair and pushchair friendly.  Just 20 minutes from the CBD, near Waterview Tunnel, moments from the cycle track and a short stroll from the nearest bus stop.  Easy for walkers, cyclists and drivers alike.
