Stallholder Info

The Te Atatu Peninsula Artisan & Handmade Market celebrates creativity, and provides an outlet for kiwi creators and artisans to show off their talents.  Creators of wonderful things market their products and meet other stallholders.  We are a small and intimate market in a unique location.

You will find us in the Main Hall at 595 Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula and sometimes on the Deck.  The market is from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Most stallholders prefer inside in the Main Hall.

Unique Location:
The Deck overlooks a children's playground and there are a number of great little eateries in Te Atatu Peninsula if you wish to grab a bite to eat.

Space Sizes and Cost:
Space sizes are 1.6 metres deep x 2.0 metres long and it costs $5 for the space.  If you need a longer space please ask.  This needs to be arranged before market day and is only available in special circumstances.

What You Need to Bring:
Bring everything you need to set up your allocated space - tables, covers and display stands.  Tables should be covered with a neat and tidy cloth or sheet which is large enough to cover table legs at the front and sides.  Cloths should extend all the way down to the bottom of your table.  Glass cases are not permitted.  Gas cookers are not permitted.

Setup:
Stallholders need to be set up by the time the market starts and stay til closing.  Leave your space as you found it. Parking is at the rear behind the Community Centre.  Cars are not permitted to drive on the path between the Deck and the Playground.

Accepted and Unable to Attend?
We need as much notice as possible so we can allocate your space to another talented creator.  We realise last minute emergencies can happen - just get in touch ASAP.

The Process:

  • Contact us and let us know you are interested in the market
  • Complete an application form and wait for acceptance
  • We contact you before each market and you need to confirm your attendance as as possible, otherwise your space could be given to someone else
  • We run a unique and varied market as unique.  There is a standby list for stallholders who sell similar products to our regular stallholders.  We will get in touch a regular stallholder is unable to attend
Pack Up:
You need to be packed up and gone by 2:45 pm.

Permanent & Casual Stallholders:
We have a group of permanent stallholders.  To become a permanent stallholder you need to have attended a number of markets as a casual.  We try and allocate permanent stallholders in the same space on each market day.

A Smile Makes all the Difference:
We ask that you make everyone’s day enjoyable.   Happy stallholders = happy customers.
