Introducing: The Ultimate Celebrate Mum Market on Saturday 4 May 2024

We're back in the Main Hall of the Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre on Saturday 4 May 2024 at 595 Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula. It's a day where we come together to celebrate mums. Whether you're a mum to a bundle of joy, an entire brood, or a mum to a feathered or furry friend - we are celebrating you. This market day is a celebration of creativity, connection, and all things MumTastic!

Whether you're a mum yourself, shopping for your own amazing mum, or simply looking for something unique to brighten someone's day, or your own ... then this event is for you.

We invite you to browse the market and discover the very best in handmade creations.  There's something special for everyone, all under one roof.

Celebrate Mum Market - Saturday 4 May 2024, 10am to 2pm, Main Hall, Te Atatu Community Centre, 595 Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland
But it's not just about the shopping (although it's pretty good). It's also about the connections we make along the way. It's about sipping on a cup of espresso coffee while speaking to our passionate makers about why they love what they do. It's about coming together as a community to celebrate the art of craft in all its forms.

So, what can you expect?  Lets take a look ...
  • Face-To-Face Connections: One of the most beautiful things about our market is the sense of connection you'll feel as soon as you walk through the door. It's not just about shopping; it's about chatting with our talented artisans, creators and fellow community members who make our little corner of the world so special.
  • Artisan Creations: You'll be amazed at the creative talent on display! From handcrafted fashion jewellery and fibres - knitted, crocheted and woven, through to artwork and so much more, each item has a story behind it. These are more than just creations; they're labours of love, each one made by their maker with dedication and passion.
  • Sip, Shop and Explore: As you browse the market and discover all-new creations and old favourites, take a moment to sip on a freshly brewed espresso coffee. It's the perfect fuel for market shopping! Come on down and explore every nook and cranny of our market; you never know what you might find! And with our very own inhouse DJ spinning toe-tapping tunes, there's always a smile from Rod. You're welcome to dance your way around the aisles.
  • Community Spirit: Our market is a celebration of community and creativity. It's a chance to come together, support local businesses and artisans, and to spread a little joy. Whether you're a longtime resident, or a newcomer to the area, or just passing by, you're sure to feel right at home among the friendly faces and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Location and Accessibility: We're conveniently located in the heart of the vibrant Te Atatu Peninsula Shopping Centre, just metres away from the closest bus stops, close to local cycleways, moments from the motorway and cycleway, and minutes from the Waterview Tunnel. The Main Hall is in an accessible space, ensuring easy access for wheelchairs and parents with prams.

From all of us at the Celebrate Mum Market, we can't wait to welcome you into our creative world and celebrate the mums in our lives.
